The Best Time of Year to Visit Apple Hill Orchard

Cherries – Harvest usually begins around July 4th and continues through the first week in August.

Apples, pears, plums – Harvest usually begins in September.

If you’re lucky enough to be in town during the annual fall Bayfield Apple Festival, you can treat yourself to Apple Hill Orchard’s famous caramel apples. These aren’t just any caramel apples. They are covered in a range of toppings including M&Ms to coconut.

How to Get to Apple Hill Orchard

You can find Apple Hill Orchard about 5 miles from Pinehurst Inn at the corner of Highways J and I. The orchard is open 7 days a week during harvest time.
