Breakfast
Enjoy a delicious, gourmet breakfast, complimentary with your accommodations, at our B&B in Bayfield, WI!
Starting your day at Pinehurst Inn Bed & Breakfast provides the opportunity to enjoy a hearty meal, while sharing your tales of Bayfield and the Apostle Islands with fellow guests. Good food, great conversation, a combination that rounds out our guests’ experience.
We are proud to incorporate locally sourced food and ingredients into the breakfasts we serve to our guests. Bayfield orchards and area farms provide a wonderful opportunity to “buy local.” The coffee served each morning is roasted in the Northwoods by Backroads Coffee in Hayward, Wisconsin. The innkeepers decide the menu for each breakfast, which typically starts off with something baked, followed by a fruit and/or yogurt course, and ending with the main breakfast entrée. At Pinehurst Inn Bed & Breakfast, we strive to make breakfast not only tasty, but memorable. Given the number of requests we have received for recipes, we have decided to include a Recipes page on our website, which will feature many of the items served for breakfast or as an afternoon treat.
Our Wisconsin bed and breakfast serves breakfast in the Main House for all guests generally between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. You can also get your breakfast “to-go” if that is what you would prefer, which can be picked up at the Main House between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. We will ask at check-in, what time you would like breakfast and whether you would like the breakfast service or the “to-go” option. An earlier continental-type breakfast (typically something baked and coffee or tea) can be arranged if you need breakfast before 8:00 a.m., however, we need at least 12 hours’ notice.
Please advise us of any food allergies or special dietary needs or restrictions at the time of your reservation or at least 24 hours in advance of your stay with us. We do our best to accommodate our guests’ needs.
Afternoon Treats
Becky loves cooking and baking, so that means guests at Pinehurst Inn Bed & Breakfast are treated to an afternoon snack to enjoy after their day on Lake Superior or exploring the Apostle Islands and the Bayfield, WI area. Becky constantly is trying out or experimenting with recipes, so you never know what may show up in the afternoon. A guest favorite is the Spiced Cream Pie, which came about when Mike was eating one of his favorite ginger-molasses cookies and wondered how the cookies might taste with the vanilla cream Becky uses in her Oatmeal Cream Pies. Well, the pairing of a ginger molasses cookie with a light vanilla cream just might be better than peanut butter and chocolate, but you can be the judge. Check out our Recipes page for some of our guests’ favorite afternoon treats and sign-up for our Newsletter to learn about new additions to the Recipes page.
