Things to Do in the Nourse Sugarbush

One of the biggest draws to the sugarbush is the fact that much of the vegetation present there is quite old. Because of the natural landscape, the Sugarbush had some protection from natural hazards. Thus, the trees are quite tall, towering over other plants in the area. Additionally, bird lovers will want to try and spot the rare deep-throated blue warbler, which is fairly common in this area. Hiking, Fishing, Hunting, and Trapping are all allowed within the sugarbush. During the wintertime, cross-country skiing is also permitted. Please keep in mind that the wonder of the Nourse Sugarbush is in its natural, unspoiled beauty. Thus, there are no designated campgrounds, and camping is not permitted.
